How long is a Salt Cave Therapy session?
Each session starts on the hour and the options are 20 minutes for $20.00 + tax or 45 minutes for $35.00 + tax per person. Visitors should arrive at least 10 minutes early to sign the salt cave waiver form and check-in. If you are late for your appointment it will result in your time being deducted in order for the next party to start at their allotted time slot.
What is the temperature of the cave?
Our Salt Cave is a dry and cool environment and the temperature is set between 20-21 degrees. We do provide robes for over top of your clothing for warmth and comfort, and also provide blankets, socks and slippers if needed. This temperature is needed to maximize the effects of Halotherapy.
What do I do in the Himalayan Salt Cave?
Lay back in our comfortable lounge chairs, close your eyes, breathe deeply and relax. You can sit on the meditation cushions or right on the floor and meditate or stretch. Feel free to read a book, play cards or catch up with a friend while relaxing in the Pink Salt Cave.
Who should not use the Salt Cave/Halotherapy?
You should not use the Salt Cave if you have the following:
-an infection or fever
-a contagious disease
-respiratory cancer
-tuberculosis
-cardiac disease
-acute respiratory disease
-severe hypertension
-chronic obstructive lung disease
-heart problems (uncontrolled)
Always consult your doctor prior to receiving Halotherapy if you have any other health problems not listed above.
Halotherapy is not a replacement for your medication and medical plan.
Is the Salt Cave safe for pregnant women?
Yes, salt therapy (Halotherapy) is a natural and holistic remedy and is safe for expectant mothers. Not only can it help alleviate breathing issues, inflammation and swelling throughout the body, it also promotes relaxation and helps to reduce stress. Always contact your doctor if you have any questions or concerns regarding your pregnancy and halotherapy.
Is massage safe for pregnant women?
Yes, relaxation massage is safe for expectant mothers. However, we will not massage expectant mothers who are less than 12-weeks pregnant. Always contact your doctor if you have any questions or concerns regarding your pregnancy and massage.
Are cell phones allowed in the Salt Cave?
We do allow cell phones inside the cave (with the sound off) however, if exposed, salt can corrode the inside of your device over time. It is up to your own discretion to bring it in or leave it in the lockers provided. We will not be held liable for any damages.
What is the cancellation policy?
All services will require a credit card on file to hold your appointment time with the practitioner. Cancellations must be be communicated at least 48 hours in advance otherwise incur a fee of the following:
Less than 48 hours: 50% of service price
No show: 100% of the service price
How many people can be in the Salt Cave?
We can accommodate a maximum of 6 people at a time in the Salt Cave. We have four lounge chairs, two sitting chairs and meditation cushions. For larger parties (7-12 guests), please contact reception for booking.
